Asmaa Benaissa is an associate professor of microbiology at Hadi Bey Ag-Akhamouk-Tamanghasset University (Algeria). Her areas of expertise include teaching courses on environmental microbiology, microbial ecology, and various other subjects. She obtained her PhD in Rhizospheric Microbial Ecology from the University of Sciences and Technology of Houari Boumediene (USTHB, Algeria) in 2020.
Following that, she pursued post-doctoral research in applied microbiology in collaboration with the Laboratory of Biology and Physiology of Organisms (LBPO/USTHB). Dr. Benaissa has authored numerous scientific publications on soil microorganisms and their practical uses. Her research primarily focuses on bacteria that enhance plant growth and provide plant protection.
